My girls loved the pet feature. I had never played this game as a kid but I've always heard of it or seen others have it. So I fulfilled one of my bucket list items and bought one to play with my kids as they came of age. We have fun together. It's a quick enough play for an adult and a child to enjoy.

Pets are cool
My son adores this game. A previous version we had had a wonky spinner. This one is much better but the colored cardboard piece underneath moves when you spin it which is a little annoying. Overall good though, he really loves the addition of the pets.

Very easy to play and understand
I bought this because we wanted to play a classic board game with our 12 yr old nephew. He loves animals....so the pet version just made sense. It is way better than the original version!! They simplified the directions so its easy to determine what to do at any given point. The spinner spins easily and smoothly. We had a blast playing and will most likely play it every time he comes over. I highly recommend it!

I bought this for our grandkids because we always had a lot of fun playing it as kids. It was nice to see our kids & grandkids having just as much fun this Christmas playing Life. It's changed a bit from the 1960's but still a lot of fun!
